Otoko no ko refers to persons assigned male at birth but identify female. They may undergo hormone replacement therapy and GCS to align their physical appearance with their gender identity. Otoko no ko are frequently associated with the Josou community and like sharing their femininity through attire and cosmetics. Certain individuals could identify as trap on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on their comfort level. In recent years, mtf have become more visible and accepted in the community, resulting in increased awareness and understanding.
